However, many people that are just getting into the business find themselves confused by all of the advice on how to drive the traffic increases they need. This article will give you some easy to follow solutions that will leave you with the knowledge necessary to have a successful campaign.

Take a closer look into the Hostgator. If you’ve got enough time on your hands, then blog commenting is a good way to generate quality traffic. You need to start out by searching for relevant blogs in your niche market and commenting on their posts. Avoid being outright promotional of your product. Such comments will be automatically deleted and thus accomplish nothing. Keep your comments friendly and informative, aim to help people who will read them. You will not have your comments deleted this way and you will create a name for yourself as somebody who has knowledge in that particular field. You will begin to see traffic increase thanks to this technique. This is an awesome way to create convertible traffic.

Another great service that you can use to draw in more visitors is social bookmarking. The theory behind using these services is that they will be able to generate well targeted leads for you. To get the most out of this plan, you will want to join several of these services so that you are able to maximize the reach of your efforts and gain the most audience possible. Once again, the tagging that you use will be very important because the users of these sites will use the tags to navigate to the content they are looking for. It will be possible for you to submit both your homepage and individual pages within your Hostgator site’s structure. The trick is to bookmark other sites as well so you avoid being accused of spam.

Adding interactivity in some way is a great way to keep traffic interested and coming in to your Hostgator site. This is to entice visitors back. The kind of traffic you want is that which returns continually. You can do this by using simple widgets, your own forum, running quizzes, etc. You might also encourage repeat patronization by holding monthly contests or games that you can use as a means to give away prize packages to the winner. Such contests will get the word spread about your Hostgator site and keep people coming back over and over again to take the chance to win something.

Traffic generation is something that you will not be able to learn overnight, but after you have grasped the concepts you will see great improvements. As far as being successful online goes, being able to generate traffic is one of the most important things to learn. As long as you put in the work and time there is no reason you can’t perfect this skill and be successful online. To view more information, please read on Hostgator.

Capitalizing on Social Networking for Joint Venture Marketing

Wednesday, May 26th, 2010

Nearly everyone has a Facebook or MySpace page today, and unless you have been living in the Dark Ages of late, you have probably “tweeted” someone through Twitter. Social networking is all the rage, and now businesses are beginning to understand the value of effectively using social networking tools that literally reach millions of potential customers every day.

This article will discuss how to use social networking in your JV marketing strategy to link up with an even broader potential customer base.

Options in Social Networking

One of the biggest draws to social networking in JV marketing is the number of options in social networking today. Some of the choices include:

  • FaceBook
  • MySpace
  • Twitter
  • YouTube

One of the most popular options for professionals today is LinkedIn, which is primarily used to market one’s abilities for the job market. However, businesses are also tuning into the advantages of marketing their business through this social networking site as well.

Another option is to find a niche market website that specifically works with businesses or business owners like you. For example, the Toilet Paper Entrepreneur attracts small business owners with the opportunity to read blogs and post comments regarding running a business today. There are also blogs like Networking Effectively, which is designed to help business owners utilize the latest technology in social networking to the benefit of their bottom line.

Tips for Effective Marketing

Perhaps you have thought about posting your business on Facebook or Twitter, but you are unsure how to use the sites effectively to market your company. We have a few tips to help you navigate the world of social networking with professional savvy:

  • Think about your audience as you are designing your social networking accounts. Are they young and hip, motivated by trendy purchases?  Are they professional yet cutting edge, looking for the best technology?   Make sure your social networking account is in line with your target audience, as well as your current branding strategy.
  • Get the ball rolling with a topical discussion about your product or brand, and listen to what others have to say. You may gain a wealth of information regarding what prospective customers are looking for and how you can effectively reach them through your JV partnership and your advertising campaign.
  • Provide real time information about your business, including current promotions and specials going on in your store. Social networks are the perfect way to cross promote your joint venture.  You might be amazed at the level of traffic you receive when shoppers begin to sniff out a deal.  Think about creating JV combo packages exclusively for patrons of the social networks.  When you build relationships online, you build them for your business as well.

Using social networking to build a business is a free marketing strategy that is already proving successful for many business owners today. While a JV partnership is a good beginning to finding a broader customer base, the use of social networking by you and your JV partner may increase business exponentially. Social network websites appear to be the wave of both the present and the future for profitable business owners.

10 Secrets of Boosting Website Traffic

Sunday, May 24th, 2009

In this article we look at other ways to drive traffic to your website that are targeted and ready to purchase your product or service. Although all these strategies are not free many are and can be very effective when used consistently.

1. Use Solo Ezine Ads. Solo Ezine ads remain one of the most low-cost but effective means of advertising on the Internet. A solo ad is sent out by itself to the entire Ezine database and therefore gets good exposure compared to a classified ad.

You can simply do a SE query for Ezines in your market segment that offers solo advertising. You can also check out a site such as litsz.com for a number of widely read Ezines. With over 300,000 Ezines published online you should have little trouble finding advertisement space.

2. Buying Leads. Buying leads or mailing list is traditionally associated with Network Marketing and the direct mail industry. However, this is not so anymore. Many Ezine publishers are now buying subscribers from so called “co-registration” companies that send you subscribers at a price.

This is also known as “pay-per-lead” or “pay-per-subscriber” services and they offer a guaranteed way to build your optin list for a very reasonable fee. You can then market to these leads and offer your affiliate program to them. A few such companies are leadfactory.com, hiplists.com and worldlist.com.

3. Offer low-ticket items at auction sites. It’s no secret that auction sites such as ebay.com receive a ton of traffic. If you offer cheap products you can build your customer list very quickly. You can then offer back-end products to increase your return-on-investment.

At least this is one case of “If the mountain cannot come to Mohammed then Mohammed will go to the mountain” Go to where the traffic is and the traffic may follow you!

4. Run off-line ads. Many of the companies that do very well on the Internet are those companies that already had an off-line presence. They had their branding done before they entered the dotcom world.

It is very easy to forget newspaper classifieds and magazine ads when marketing on the Internet. You can use a car decal with your website address and tagline for example to lead visitors to your site.

5. Run an affiliate program. Once you’ve set up a website and a product that sells well you can organize an affiliate program with a generous commission structure. Those who sign up for the program will have to send traffic to your website to get sales. You can then invite those new customers to also become your affiliates and the viral effect takes it from there. This is really a marketers dream come true because you may have to do little promotion yourself.

6. Provide a Press Release. Do you think that you have a website or service that the world should know about? Then maybe they can know about this. You can pay a company such as pressreleasenetwork.com to do a press release for you. You can never tell which online and off-line news network will pick up your story and give you that shot in the arm that you are looking for.

If you need help in the writing of your press releases you may check a service such as ereleases.com.

7. Use Google AdWords. Google AdWords are what feeds the ads that show up to the left as ’sponsored links’ on Google’s search results. This is a type of PPC search engine except that you pay only after your ad is clicked instead of making a deposit. You are able to set your budget-how much you are willing to spend per day-so you can keep your spending in check.

The same tips as applied to normal PPC will apply here, except that your position or ranking depends on more than the amount of your bid for the keyword. You also have to indicate if you are an affiliate in the ad text itself.

If your ads are not getting a set minimum click thru rate (CTR) then your ad can be dropped from the listing. Some marketers will click on their own ads to avoid them dropping from the listing.

8. Perform a linking exchange campaign with other webmaster to get incoming link to your website. The number of incoming links from pages with high ranking can boost your own page ranking in SE like Google. Determine your present linking popularity by using www.linkpopularity.com and then contact other webmasters to ask for a link exchange.

9. Use the social network sites such as YouTube and MySpace. This is a more indirect way of getting traffic as you’ll not want to directly advertise your business but provide entertaining nuggets of information that would lead interested viewers and readers to come to your website to get more of you. The type of videos that work best on these sites are short (less than 10 minutes) and very entertaining. So you’ll want to inject some personality in these traffic generators.

10. Give away free ebooks and reports seeded with your website links and make them viral by providing an incentive for other webmasters to distribute them from their websites or give away as bonuses.

Traffic generation is becoming more and more competitive and expensive but at the same time those who make a consistent effort to generate traffic will be the ultimate winners in the online marketing game.
